Sally Marshall Hall of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Thursday morning, March 13, 2014, at the age of 75 after a brave and long battle fighting cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Laura Marie Dishman Hogg and Dr. Garrett Hogg Jr., as well as by her brother, Garrett “Sonny” Hogg III.
She was the beloved wife of Gary D. Hall, mother of Gary Hall Jr. (Nancy) and Cindy Hall, and sister of Sara Peabody.
Sally was born in St. Louis and spent her childhood in Cabool, Missouri. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, where she obtained her nursing degree. Later, she was a professor in the nursing department at Maryville University. She spent time working as a nurse in California and loved her time at Stanford University, San Diego, and Costa Mesa. Sally was a wonderful mother, an excellent nurse, a caring person, and a special friend to many. She was a brilliant woman who had a great sense of humor, and had a tremendous love for the ocean and the beach.
Services were held Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, Creve Coeur. Interment was in Bellerive Gardens Cemetery.
