Kristofer Kazakoff, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born on October 6, 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Boris and Sharlene (Burnham) Kazakoff
Kristofer moved to Cabool, Missouri, with his mother and sister Shannen in July of 1976. He attended Cabool Schools from grades kindergarten through high school. He played on the football team in middle and high school. He was also active in the FFA and many other school activities. He later attended Missouri State University and received his associate’s degree.
On September 21, 1994 he was united in marriage to Pamela Green, and to this 12-year union, three children were born. Kristofer will be most remembered for his charismatic personality, making people laugh, his love of the Dallas Cowboys, and bringing home stray animals. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Boris Kazakoff; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his uncle, Lloyd Kazakoff.
Kristofer is survived by his children, Krizan, Karina, and Balin Kazakoff, and his mother, Sharlene Underwood, all of Willow Springs, Missouri; his sisters, Dana Underwood of Willow Springs, and Shannen Hill of San Antonio, Texas; his uncles, Vick Kazakoff of Saskatchewan, Canada, and Arvid Burnham and wife Wilma of Woodland Park, Colorado; and his aunt, Donna Aldridge of Columbus, Montana.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Willow Springs. Private inurnment is planned for a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Willow Funeral Home in Willow Springs.
