Thomas A. Palmer, 75, of Elk Creek, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born on January 29, 1938 in Canton, Texas, the son of Willie and Retha (Bookman) Palmer.
Thomas enjoyed living in the country in Missouri and spending time with his grandson, Dallas. He always had a few cows around to work with and he also enjoyed watching wrestling, fishing and going to the car races. At the time of his passing he was a member of the Church of Christ in Houston, Missouri.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.
He is survived by Rosemary Palmer; his children, Kyna, Mark, Tonya, and David Palmer and wife Lisa; five grandchildren, Jarod Cade, Kassey, Tarah, Gavyn and Dallas; two great-grandchildren, Kailey and Kensley; as well as many friends.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Miller Cemetery near Elk Creek with Don Pruitt officiating. Interment was in Miller Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, Missouri.
