Wilbur Leon Seneker of Salem, Missouri, passed away November 22, 2013 at the age of 86 years, nine months and nine days.
He was born February 12, 1927 in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, to Eldred Seneker and Bertie Gannaway. He and his wife, Mary Lou, were married in 1948 and were the parents of two sons.
He was the industrial arts teacher at Cabool High School in Cabool, Missouri, in the late 1950s and early 1960s and was CHS principal from 1962 to 1966, where students called him “Chief.”
Mr. Seneker was preceded in death by his two sons, Terry and Gary, and two brothers, Dwight Seneker and Kenneth Terrill.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Seneker of Salem; his grandchildren, Megan Hawkins and husband Jason of Salem, Nicole Anconetani and husband Rick of St. Peters, Missouri, and Jessica Metzler and Dan Wilga of Wentzville, Missouri; and his great-grandchildren, Matt Hawkins, Shanna Hawkins, Luca Anconetani, Layla Anconetani, Jordan Wilga and Riley Wilga.
His funeral service was held November 25, 2013 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem, with Tim Hill and J.J. Tune officiating. Interment was in North Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Seneker attended Salem Christian Church.
