Brandy Lynn Newberry, daughter of Deanna (Keys) Fiegenbaum, was born on May 31, 1991 in Houston, Missouri, and passed from this life on July 7, 2013 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, following a long history of seizures. She was 22 years, one month, and six days of age.
Brandy grew up in the Mtn. Grove and Cabool, Missouri, areas and attended Skyview State School in Mtn. Grove. She committed her life to Christ and was baptized on March 17, 2013. She attended Sleeper Methodist Church in Lebanon, Missouri.
Brandy enjoyed spending time with her family, watching funny movies, and going out to eat. She went to car races, visited the fire station and went to work with her mother at Fort Leonard Wood. She was a lively spirit, looked like a little angel and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Brandy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Dean Keys, and her grandparents, Henry and Lois Newberry.
She is survived by her mother, Deanna Fiegenbaum and husband Bruce of Lebanon, Missouri; her grandmother, Linda Keys of Mtn. Grove; her aunt, Deanise (Keys) Dobbs and husband Donnie of Norwood, Missouri; a cousin, Douglas Dobbs of Norwood; her father, Wayne Newberry of Versailles, Missouri; her step-grandparents, Rick and Evelyn Fiegenbaum of Lebanon; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 7, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in Craig-Hurtt Chapel with Pastor Marsha Vincent officiating. Song selections were “Jesus Loves Me” and “Jesus Loves The Little Children.” Kathy McKay sang, accompanied by Rhonda Hurtt on the piano. Pallbearers were Donald Dobbs, Douglas Dobbs, Brent Fiegenbaum, Brian Fiegenbaum, J.J. Harley, and Jerry Dover. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove.
