Martha Ann Miller, 69, daughter of Robert and Cora (Russell) Young, was born September 11, 1943 in Summersville, Missouri. She passed away on February 27, 2013 in Springfield, Missouri.
She grew up in the Summersville community and attended school there.
Martha married Moe Miller in 1962. They had four sons, Danny, Scott, Kyle and Rustin.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny; her husband; her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her sons, Scott and wife Melissa of Houston, Missouri, Kyle and wife Janean of Cabool, Missouri, and Rustin and Kristie of Houston; ten grandchildren, Abigail, Addison, Ikerd, Haddlie, Kaden, Karson, Kinley, Catlin, Travis, and Jessie; four great-grandchildren; and many more family members and friends made through the years.
Martha was an LPN and worked at Texas County Memorial Hospital and for Dr. Womack.
She had many interests in life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, and working with crafts. These were activities that took her time and talents and were lovingly shared with family and friends. She also spent time researching the genealogy of the family.
Another activity Martha enjoyed was fishing. She could be seen out near a pond, casting her pole and patiently waiting for that bite. It was a wonderful way to relax and maybe even have something for supper.
Many things interested Martha, but the one thing that held her greatest attention was watching her sons racing. She followed them to their races as often as possible and was their biggest fan.
Family was a big part of her life. She loved her sons and their families and looked forward to time with them. They all held a special place in her heart.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
