During her teaching career she taught at Liberty Grove, Ridgeview, Willow Springs and finished at Carmichael in West Plains, teaching the third grade.

Following her retirement after 30 years of teaching she enjoyed traveling taking bus tours. She also went on a cruise to Hawaii with her sister, Loetta Dowell. At home, she spent a great deal of time gardening and taking care of her yard until the age of 86. She enjoyed growing a variety of vegetables and flowers.

Nadia provided care for both of her husbands during their final illnesses. She married Harry Edward Jackson in April of 1946 and after his passing she was married to Forrest Wise in 1992.

She also supported missionary endeavors. Nadia Wise loved her Savior Jesus Christ and taught children to love Him too in Sunday school class.
