Teresa Lynn (Garrett) Cook was born August 3, 1962 in Buffalo, Oklahoma, and passed away at the age of 51 peacefully in her sleep on September 29, 2013 at St. Charles, Missouri.
She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Gladys (McKinney) Garrett of Success, Missouri; three daughters, Jessee Garrett and husband John Wheeler of Bucyrus, Missouri, Christin Crawford and husband Ben of Cabool, Missouri, and Elishia Slattery and husband Jason of Rochester, New Hampshire; 11 grandchildren, Jada Jones, Jenna Ryerson, Dustin Wheeler, Matthew Wheeler, Cadence Wade, Cassius, Jesslynn, and Ember Crawford, Richard Nichols, Jr., Riley Talbott, and Tanner Slattery; and two sisters, Kimberly Garrett and Deanna Garrett both of Success.
Teresa lived in Hazelwood, Missouri, most of her life and returned home to Houston, Missouri, for most of the past ten years where she could be close to her family.
She loved to spend time with her daughters and children who loved her no matter what. She was always up for anything and always was the loudest one in the group with the most to say.
Teresa was not only a daughter and mother but was a friend. She will be missed more than she will ever know by all who truly knew her.
