Jose “Freddie” Hauad

Jose “Freddie” Hauad, son of Margaret (Gonzales) Hauad, was born on May 28, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away on September 25, 2012 in Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, following a long illness. He was 58 years of age.

Freddie grew up and attended school in Chicago, Illinois. He had made his home in the Mtn. Grove area for the past ten years.

He enjoyed playing bingo at the Mtn. Grove and Cabool VFW halls with his many friends whenever he got a chance.

Freddie was a member of Victory Tabernacle Ministries. He was always interested in studying the Word of God.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Carl Hauad.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret Damacela of Mtn. Grove; two sisters, Janette Dupont and husband Emile of Vanzant, Missouri, and Hedi Suastegui and husband Arthur of Peoria, Arizona; and other relatives and friends who will miss him.

Graveside services were held on September 26, 2012 in Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Judy Talbert officiating. Lora Hurst sang “Amazing Grace” and “I’ll Fly Away.” Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove.
