Marvin McTerry McKinley, III

Marvin McTerry McKinley, III of Mountainair, New Mexico, formerly of the Cabool, Missouri, area,
passed away September 16, 2012.

He was born November 3, 1951 to Marvin M. McKinley, Jr. and Marian Watkins (Varner) in Charleston, South Carolina.

Marvin had moved back to the family home in Mountainair for the past three years, having previously lived in West Plains, Missouri. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin M. McKinley, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Marian Watkins of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters Mary Frances McKinley and Marcy Allison McKinley; nephews Hunter Riek and Clark Riek; cousin Mitch McKinley; two stepbrothers and a stepsister, Mark, Paul and Karen Weinberger; and a dear friend, Danny Woods of Mtn. Grove, Missouri.

His funeral service was held Friday, September 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Mountainair with Gary Fulfer officiating, followed by a reception. A private burial was to follow. Pallbearers were Hunter Riek, Clark Riek, Jerry Apodaca, Augustine Apodaca, Todd Lindsay, Mitch McKinley, Duane Boyle and Johnny Matthews. Honorary pallbearers were Weldon McKinley, Henry McKinley, Andrew McKinley, Marc McKinley, Clyde Fulfer, Bob Self and Don Shockey.

Arrangements were under the direction of Harris-Hanlon Mortuary, Mountainair.
