Anna Louise Harrison

Anna Louise Harrison, age 80, daughter of Michael and Anna (Jaroszewicz) Panetta, was born September 24, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She passed away July 16, 2012 in Houston, Missouri.

Anna married Thomas Harrison on April 18, 1953. They had six children.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Mike Panetta; one sister, Dianne Cosella; and one sister-in-law, Arla Mae Harrison.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas, of the home; six children, Nina Wake and husband James of Cabool, Missouri, Roger Harrison of Houston, Missouri, Deborah McKee and husband Frank of Licking, Missouri, Colleen Kirkman and husband Mike of Summersville, Missouri, Jess Harrison of St. Louis, Missouri, and Dawn Stroup and husband Wayne of Licking; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandkids; two great-great-grandkids; two brothers, Jim Panetta and wife Wanda of Houston and John Panetta and wife Ellie of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Mary Sands of Cape May, New Jersey, Ruth Henry and husband Bill of Cypress, California, and Joan Bragg of Spring City, Pennsylvania; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Anna had several interests. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was an active member of Yukon Extension Club as long as it was in session. She loved crocheting, making many afghans for her family that will be cherished by them. She loved her puzzle books and playing bingo. However, her greatest joy was chasing her grandkids around; having them near her was always her favorite time of the day.
Anna will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor David Barbee will officiate with burial in Union Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
