Donna Shaul, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, while at Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri. She was 73 years old.
She was born on January 31, 1938 in Denver, Colorado, to Lloyd and Amelia (Stoecklein) Smith.
Mrs. Shaul spent most of her youth in Denver. She later married Jack Robinson and moved to Washington state. Donna had many enjoyments in her life such as camping and fishing; however, her greatest love was for her family. She was described as a loving, kind, and strong woman who lived life to the fullest and met its many challenges head on. She will be greatly missed and always loved by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jack Robinson, her second husband, Kenneth Shaul; an infant son, Kevin Scott Robinson; and a grandson, Austin Shaul.
She is survived by her children, Don Robinson of Washington, Chris Shaul and wife Melissa of Cabool, Missouri, Todd Christensen of Idaho, and Theresa Crane and husband J.R. of Cabool. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Dennis Zimmer, Misty Gollaher, Brandy Gollaher, William Earle, Montana, Kenneth, and James Shaul, Kevin and Melany Robinson, Ryan, Stevie, Tenneara and Tyra Christensen, and 18 great-grandchildren. Donna will be further missed by her extended family at Kabul Nursing Home.
A memorial service was held Monday, May 16, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Westside Family Life Center in Willow Springs, Missouri. Inurnment followed the service at Pine Grove Cemetery in Willow Springs. Arrangements were under the direction of Willow Funeral Home.
