Esther Bresler, 90, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on July 26, 2011.
She was born January 31, l921 in Mountain Grove, Mo, the daughter of Lawrence G. Tate and Lydia M. (McCall) Tate. She grew up with her parents and nine siblings in the Bado community in Texas County, Missouri.
On July 16, 1939 she married Warren Bresler. Warren and Esther lived in Oregon for three years, then they returned to Missouri where they were successful farmers in the Freely Give community of Texas County for 19 years. Their daughters attended Cabool High School in Cabool, Missouri. In 1957 they moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where they were in the apartment business for 25 years. They moved to Mesa, Arizona, in 1984 where they retired.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warren Bresler; her daughter, Sharon Roberta Hawk; and her nine siblings, Mabel Welch, Alan Tate, Mary Gockley, Noah Tate, James Tate, Amos Tate, Lorene Beltz, Leah Felker and Alta Noblitt.
She is survived by daughter Alberta Sigman and son-in-law Gerald Sigman, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held, Friday, July 29, 2011, at East University Church of God, Mesa, Arizona.
