Ronald Wayne Killion, Centertown, Missouri, was born in Houston, Missouri, on February 25, 1939, the son of the late Wayne Owen Killion and the late Eula Maxine Laws Royer. He passed away at his home on September 4, 2011 at the age of 72.
Ronald lived in Simmons, Missouri, and graduated Cabool High School in 1957. In 1959 he moved to Buena Park, California. After retiring in 2004 he returned to Missouri. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. He enjoyed reading, watching TV, playing card games and, most of all, visiting with family and friends. Ronald was even tempered, loved life and was a kind and generous person. He always had concern for others.
Ronald was married to Juleen Trummell, who survives at the home, on September 18, 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Other survivors include two sons, John Killion and wife Diane of Jefferson City and Christopher Killion of New Bloomfield, Missouri; one daughter, Rhonda Goss of Houston; one granddaughter, Susie Pool and husband Andrew, and two great-grandsons, Rand Pool and Lucas Pool, all of Cabool, Missouri; one brother, James Killion and wife Linda of Jefferson City; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Lyle Killion.
Graveside services will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Texas County on Sunday, September 11, 2011, at 3:00 pm.
