John Bradford “Brad” Pierson, 47 of Elk Creek, Missouri, died Monday, March 8, 2010 at his home.
He was born on December 15, 1962 at Houston, Missouri, the son of Ray and Florence Pierson.
He was a graduate of Cabool High School and Oklahoma State Tech where he learned the skills to be an electrician. He worked for many years with his parents at Pierson Electric of Cabool. He has worked at Southern Missouri Containers Packing Group in Springfield, Missouri, for the last ten years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ray. Jr.,
He is survived by his children, Leyna Blackwelder and husband Jason of Cabool, Taylor Rae Gregory of College of the Ozarks and Cole Gregory of Rogersville, Missouri; a grandson, Heath Blackwelder of Cabool; a girlfriend, Tammy Rust, and her children and grandchildren; two sisters, Joanna Wheeler and husband John of Bolivar, Missouri, and Sue Atha and husband Rick of Garden City, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Debby Pierson of Springfield; and nephews, nieces, many cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Maness Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Brown officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool.
