Lorene Trimble, daughter of C. E. & Bertie Miller Manley, was born December 16, 1914 in Houston, Missouri. She passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010, in Springfield, Missouri, where she and her husband, Oscar, had made their home since 1988. She was 95 years of age.
Lorene grew up in the Houston area and married Oscar Erwin Trimble on December 11, 1943. They settled in Cabool, Missouri, where they made their home until moving to Springfield.
She was a member of Glenstone Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Oscar; a brother, Carl Manly; a sister, Esther Elliott; and an infant sister, Vivian.
She had no children of her own but is survived by a special nephew, Ronald Elliott, and two special nieces, Kay McCann and Janet Barnett, all of Springfield. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. July 20, 2010 at Evans Funeral Home, Houston, with Rev. Kendall Ford officiating. Inurnment followed in Ozark Cemetery, Houston.
