After her graduation from Cabool High School in 1966 she devoted her entire life to sharing her faith with others as a full-time minister. In 1970 she received an assignment for Special Pioneer service serving in St. Ann and Chesterfield, Missouri; Centralia, Illinois; Mason City, Iowa; Poteau and Lawton, Oklahoma; Cabool, Missouri; Vinton, Texas; and Monett and Joplin, Missouri. For about the last ten years she was serving in the Spanish-speaking field.
She was able to enjoy traveling with fellow believers as they attended international conventions in Poland, Brazil and Mexico.
Martha Lois’ favorite scripture is Romans 8:28, “Now we know that God makes all his works cooperate together for the good of those who love God, those who are the ones called according to his purpose.”
