Robert “Bob” Salisbury passed away Monday, May 17, 2010, at the age of 70. He was a longtime resident of Bethany, Oklahoma, and most recently of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma.
Bob was born August 10, 1939 in Solo, Missouri, to Woody and Susie Salisbury.
He worked as an auto mechanic for many years in the Oklahoma City and Yukon, Oklahoma, area. Bob loved classic cars and enjoyed tinkering with them in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Danny Bruce Salisbury.
He is survived by his special companion, Virginia Pierce; a sister, Betty Winschell of Blackfoot, Idaho; a brother, Jack Salisbury and wife Joy Lee of Yukon, Oklahoma; a sister, Joyce Cullum of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; a son, Steve Salisbury and wife Jo Anne of Arlington, Texas; a daughter, Dana Holland and husband Jeff of Jones, Oklahoma; and three granddaughters, Lane Boehm and husband Andy and their son, Jackson, of Austin, Texas, Blaire Cook and husband Josh of Indiananpolis, Indiana, and Drew Salisbury of Arlington, Texas.
Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010, at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.
