Sandra Lynn “Sandy” Maxvill, 42, daughter of Louie and Vivian (Means) Maxvill, was born on March 24, 1967 in Houston, Missouri, and was called home to be with Jesus on March 14, 2010.
Sandy grew up in the Mtn. Grove, Missouri, area and was a graduate of Mtn. Grove High School. At a young age she gave her heart to Jesus and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Dunn, Missouri.
Sandy had a sweet spirit and a very tender, loving heart. She dearly loved her family, friends and her little dogs, which she called her babies. She always had a smile for anyone she met and never met a stranger. There is heartache in those she has left behind and memories that will not be forgotten. She enjoyed being with her family, bowling, reading, tending to her flowers and taking care of the outside animals.
Sandy was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian; two grandfathers, Dennis Means and Lester Maxvill; and one uncle, Lester Means.
She leaves behind her best friend and companion, Ronnie Hern of Cabool, Missouri; her dad, Louie Maxvill of Mtn. Grove; one brother, Mike Maxvill and wife Shannon of Cabool; her grandmothers, Dorotha Means of Mtn. Grove and Helen Maxvill of Cabool; two nephews, Curtis Maxvill of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Aaron Maxvill of Cabool; two nieces, Tiffany Maxvill of Cabool and Megan Ratteree of Mtn. Grove; two great-nephews; three aunts; one uncle; and many more relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Ratteree officiating. Interment was in Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool.
