A’ndrea White, age 17, daughter of Mark and Pat (Murphy) White, was born on October 15, 1991 in Houston, Missouri. She went home to the Lord on September 18, 2009.
A’ndrea is preceded in death by her grandmother, Blanche White, and her grandfather, Bradley Murphy.
She is survived by her parents of Houston; two brothers, Marc and Andrew and fiancée’Crystal of Houston; one sister, Shannon Choate and husband Justin of McDonaugh, Georgia; two nephews, Payton Choate of McDonaugh, Georgia, and Owen White of Houston; two nieces, Tori Choate of McDonaugh, Georgia, and Gracie White of Houston; her grandmother, Betty Murphy of Camdenton, Missouri; and her grandfather, Jack White and wife Barbara of Houston.
A’ndrea had just started her senior year at Houston High School. She was looking forward to going on to college. She was going to study photography.
She was a member of Ozark Baptist Church. She received Christ on October 31, 1999 and was baptized with her cousin, Brandon White, and his wife, Randi, by Rev. Ed Hamilton.
A’ndrea loved her family and friends. She enjoyed her job at Miller’s Grill because she loved the people. Her main interests in life were her music and photography. She will be missed greatly.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the A’ndrea White Memorial Fund in care of Evans Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009, at the Houston High School gym with Pastor Ed Eddington and Rev. Ed Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
