Angela M. Watson

Mrs. Angela M. Watson, 26, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2009, at her residence.

She was born on December 31, 1982 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Paul and Tina (Riley) Brock.

Angela was united in marriage to Nathan Watson in Springfield on February 20, 2004, and to this union three sons were born, Grady, Graham and Nate. Angela was a dedicated mother; she deeply enjoyed taking care of her family. She was employed at the Price Cutter bakery as a cake decorator; she enjoyed this job very much and took a lot of pride in her work.

Angela attended Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Springfield, where she was baptized on January 18, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jerry Riley and Clifford Brock; her grandmother, Lela Riley; a brother, Derrick James; and an uncle, George Brock.

Angela is survived by her husband, Nathan of Nixa, Missouri; her sons, Grady, Graham and Nate Lee Watson of Nixa; three stepchildren, Quenton, Savanah and Faith Walker; her mother and stepfather, Tina and Richard Monteith of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; her father, Paul Brock of Springfield; a sister, Beatrice Brock of Springfield; a brother, Nathan Monteith of Springfield; her grandmother, Mary Brock of Norwood, Missouri; her mother-in-law, Debra Lewis of Oklahoma; a dear friend and sponsor, Bill Printy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Mtn. Grove with Bro. David Purichia officiating. Pallbearers were Justin Waterdown, Andy Turner, Jim Turner, Nicholas Stidham, Bobby Stidham and Richard Brock. Honorary pallbearers were David O’Neal and Tyler Stidham. Services were under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to Cabool Second Baptist Church or Texas County Animal Shelter c/o the funeral home.
