Maxine M. Fuller, 88, of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2009, at Cox Regional Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born on June 1, 1921 in Collinsville, Illinois, the daughter of Irving and Nancy Wyatt. She was the seventh of nine children. She graduated in 1939 from Granite City High School.
Maxine was united in marriage on April 19, 1941 to John Webb Fuller, Jr. at Granite City, Illinois. In 1956 the family moved to Cabool, Missouri, where Maxine worked for 27 years at Cabool State Bank and retired as an officer. In 1984 she moved to Beaver Creek at Kissee Mills, Missouri, where she and John lived for ten years.
She was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Forsyth and enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and bluegrass music. Maxine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Barton of Ozark, Missouri; two sons, Paul Leon Fuller and wife Barbara of Kissee Mills, and John Webb Fuller III and wife April of Lubec, Maine; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Jean Latval of Brentwood, Tennessee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2009, at Faith Assembly Of God in Forsyth. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri, at 2:00 p.m.
