Pauline also counseled in Raytown, Missouri, and ended her 34-year career counseling in Aurora, Colorado, Public Schools.
Pauline married Ernest W. Skirvin on August 19, 1929. Though they called various places home, their most treasured memories were those of growing up and contributing to the Elk Creek-Cabool areas. Ernest preceded her in death on April 11, 1986.
