Robert Dwayne “Bob” Fulk, age 76, son of Mack and Ethel Fulk, was born September 28, 1931 in Stultz, Missouri. He passed away on August 14, 2008 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, following a lengthy illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Ethel; one brother, Edgar Fulk; one sister, Lovene Fulk; and two brothers-in-law, Loyal Lay and Russell Mackey.
He is survived by one brother, Delbert Fulk of Houston, Missouri; two sisters, Lavonne Lay of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Zella Mackey of Cabool, Missouri; two nieces, Marcia McKay and husband Tim of Kansas City, Missouri, and Judy McCarter and husband Jim of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one nephew, Richard Mackey of St. Peters, Missouri; two great-nieces, Cortney McKay and Jenneca McCarter; and one great-nephew, Jeffrey McCarter.
Bob grew up in the Grandview community and attended Grandview School. As a young man he worked with a construction crew on highways. He also was a carpenter and farmer. He was a talented welder, mechanic and carpenter, using these talents to build and repair. He made many things for others and was always willing to use these talents for friends and family to help them with projects. He was an avid hunter during the turkey and deer hunting season.
Bob was a quiet and gentle man. He would do anything for his neighbors and family. He was a man who never spoke an unkind word about anyone and he always saw the good in people.
He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Services were Monday, August 18, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in Evans Funeral Home, Houston. Rev. Kendall Ford officiated. Burial was in Ozark Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.evansfh.com.
