Arlene Nasworthy, 86, of Cabool, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2008, after a long illness.She had lived in the Cabool senior living apartments for several years. She spent the first half of her life in Michigan.
Born July 24, 1921, she was the youngest child of Arlo and Mayme Soth.
She married Bruce Crow, a farmer and teacher, in Michigan in 1941 and raised three children, Beth Ann, Connie, and Tom.
In 1959 she moved briefly to Alaska, and later to Florida, where she spent many years and married Charles Nasworthy in 1970. After her retirement in 1986, she moved to Georgia and then to Cabool to be near her son, Tom Crow and wife Kathy of Willow Springs, Missouri.
Arlene was a member of Cabool United Methodist Church and an avid reader.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Cabool United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Care with Texas County Memorial Hospital.
Cremation was under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool.
