Jazzi Rose Buckner

Jazzi Rose Buckner, daughter of Vickie (Gayer) and Marquel Buckner, came into the world sleeping on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. weighing five pounds, one ounce and measuring 19 inches long.

Jazzi wasn’t with her family long but her name fit her little body perfectly. She had the prettiest blondish red hair, the cutest pugged nose, and the bluest of eyes.

Jazzi was preceded in death by her sister, Gracie Mae Buckner; uncle Michael Wayne Gayer; cousin Derick Lynn Sillyman; and grandparents Rosa Winona and Louis Franklin Gayer and Suzanna Mae Weber.

She is survived by her mom and dad of Houston, Missouri; siblings Taylor Nichole Buckner, Ethan Cole Buckner, and twin brother Joey Lynn Buckner of Houston; grandparents Larry and Susan Gayer of Houston; aunts and uncles Larry and Teresa Gayer of Lexington, Tennessee, Brian and Cindy Sillyman of Houston, Kevin and Tammy Roberts of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, James and Amy Gayer of Cabool, Missouri, and Terry Gayer of Cabool; and several cousins.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Jazzi Rose Buckner Memorial Fund, c/o Landmark Bank, 1438 S. Sam Houston Blvd., Houston, MO 65483.

Services were held at 3:00 p.m.Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Evans Funeral Home with Cody Neugebauer officiating. Pallbearers were Ethan Buckner and William McNutt. Burial was in Brown Hill Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
