He was born on September 6, 1935 in Cleveland, Texas, the son of Otis and Ethel Casey, who precede him in death.
Larry spent his life in east Texas, central Illinois, northern Alaska, and these Ozark Mountains of Missouri. He worked as a pipe fitter/welder as well as a farmer and all-around cowboy.
He is also preceded in death by two sons, Darwin and Daryl, and one brother, Jerry Casey.
He is survived by his partner, Debbie Newlun; two brothers, Otis Glen and Joe Casey of New Caney, Texas; two sons, John Otis Casey of Norwood, Missouri, and Marion Lynn Casey (Kassie) of Warsaw, Illinois; one daughter, Roxanne Grein of Cleveland, Texas; as well as many grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the funeral chapel. Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Mt. Ararat Cemetery near Cabool, Missouri.
