Dale C. Eroh, 66, of Cabool, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri.
He was born on June 5, 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the son of Elmer, Sr. and Helen Eroh.
Dale’s parents passed away in 1952, leaving his brother, Elmer, Jr. and his wife, Marilyn, to raise him from the age of seven. Dale attended the University of Houston and served two years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
In 2002, Dale suffered a massive stroke, leaving him paralyzed and a resident of a nursing home for ten years.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Elmer Eroh, Jr. in 2007. After his brother’s passing, his sister-in-law, Marilyn, brought him to Kabul Nursing Home so she could look after him.
He is survived by Marilyn Eroh of Elk Creek, Missouri, and several cousins in Pennsylvania.
Dale requested that there be no services. Per his wishes he will be cremated and laid to rest at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. Arrangements were under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool.
