She was born in Cabool, Missouri, and attended school at Cabool, Houston, and Green Hill.
Glendora was married to Dale Martin January 11, 1945. Dale and Glendora spent most of their life in Houston and operated a very successful cattle business.
She was a member of Raymondville Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Martin; her parents; two daughters, Dona Lynn and Connie Sue; two sisters Alberta White and Wilma Purcell; and one brother, Herbert Reeves.
Surviving are two sisters, Wava Brown and Laura Adey, both of Houston, and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in Evans Funeral Home. Dr. Howell Burkhead officiated with burial in Pine Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Adey, Tyler Adey, Harold Wiggs, Dewayne Rees, Brian Jordan, David Martin, Johnny Jordan and Mark Weinberger. Honorary pallbearer was Bob Lynch. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Oak Dale Cemetery.
