Clarence Marion Stapp, 87, of Cameron, Missouri, passed away on July 15, 2009.
He was born on March 24, 1922 in Plainview, Texas, to Clarence, Sr., and Nannie (Legow) Stapp.
He was a mechanical engineer, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a longtime, self-employed businessman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Jennifer Rader.
Clarence married Bonnie Maple on April 19, 1992. On April 10, 2005, Clarence gave his heart to the Lord.
Additional survivors are three daughters, Karin and Roger Rader of Springfield, Missouri, Donna and Paul Ames of Ozark, Missouri, and Patti and Steve Mitchem of Springfield; two sons, Steven Stapp and Ted and Cathy Stapp of Cabool, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Lori Ames, Andy Ames, Caleb Rust, Chad Rader, Josh Rust, Shannon Rader Harman and Erica Rust Rosenbaum; seven great-grandchildren; and Dorothy Stapp, the mother of his five children.
Inurnment and military services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Springer Chapel Cemetery, Gilman City, Missouri.
