Muriel A. Reynold

Muriel A. (Rust) Reynold, 83, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014, at York Hospital, York, Pennsylvania. She was the wife of Paul N. Reynold, Jr., who died December 31, 2002.

Mrs. Reynold was born April 15, 1931, in Cabool, Missouri, daughter to the late John A. and Jennie (Mason) Rust.

She was employed by the West York Area School District as a secretary, 12 years at the former A.H. Martin Elementary and 9 years at Wallace Elementary. Muriel was an Avon representative for many years.

She was a member of Madison Avenue Church of the Brethren and the church choir. In addition she was a charter member of the Shiloh Lioness Club.

Muriel loved spending time with her family and friends, and traveling.

Survivors include, three sons, John N. Reynold and wife Edith and Jerry M. Reynold, all of Dunedin, Florida, and Jeff S. Reynold of York, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Amanda A. Reynold and Ryan P. Reynold; and a niece, Sandra Mayfield of Stilwell, Kansas.

Funeral services were Monday, November 24, 2014, at Madison Avenue Church of the Brethren, York, with Pastor Keith Hollenberg officiating. Final resting place was beside her husband in Mount Rose Cemetery, York.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Madison Avenue Church of the Brethren, 645 Madison Ave., York, PA, 17404.
