John Raymond Clements, Jr.

John Raymond Clements, Jr. of Cabool, Missouri, was born July 27, 1938 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and passed away on September 23, 2014, in West Plains, Missouri.

John was preceded in death by his parents, J. R. Clements, Sr. and Mabel Willis Clements, and his stepmother, June Clements. He was also preceded in death by his ex-wife, Linda Dalene Hoffman Clements on April 16, 2014 in Texas, and by his first grandchild, Rusty Alan Edwards on June 10, 2012 in Texas.

He is survived by three step siblings; four children, Gene Edwards, Cindy Rojas, Justin Clements and Morgan Clements; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

John graduated Flagstaff High School in May 1956. He worked for the United States for more than 40 years, first as a forest ranger in Arizona, then as a meteorologist for the Air Force and the National Weather Service in Alaska, Texas, Idaho, and Nevada. He was also a renowned pilot and flight instructor who enjoyed rebuilding aircraft.
