He was born September 6, 1957 in Willow Springs, Missouri, the son of Clell and Reva Jane (Hagar) Creagor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clell and Reva Creagor; two brothers, John and Jerry Creagor; and his grandparents, James and Vertie Creagor and Augustus and Alice Hagar.
Survivors include a very special partner Dana Crader, Dreamma Wheeler of Willow Springs, their two sons Sam Creagor of Willow Springs and Daniel Creagor of Happy Valley, Oregon; one granddaughter, Makilah Creagor; two brothers, Clifford and Bill Creagor of Vanzant, Missouri; five sisters, Betty Sparks and husband Dallas, of Vanzant, Marie Beasley and husband Roy Catlin of Houston, Texas, Linda Creagor of Colorado, Ann Carson, and Gloria Beasley of Conroe, Texas; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Sam worked construction several years, building grain elevators with his brothers. He later moved back to Willow Springs, where he built a home and raised his family. He retired from L&R Industries of Cabool, Missouri.
Sam was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved to fish and hunt. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, with Pastor Joel Hinds officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Willow Springs. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
