Ferlin was raised in the Mountain Grove area. He was very mechanical and loved working on almost anything. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends. He loved to host family gatherings, especially at Christmas time. He enjoyed being outdoors, going gigging, and raising some farm animals, especially pigs. He always went above and beyond to help others with anything they needed. He was saved and baptized at an early age. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one son, Arty Hultz of Mountain Grove; one daughter, Jenny Watson and husband Nick of Mountain Grove; two brothers, Dale Vandiver of Mountain Grove, and Leroy McCall and wife Lisa of Mountain Grove; five sisters, Earcille Hash and husband Harold, of Lebanon, Missouri, Elpha Loper and husband Ronnie of Cabool, Edith Westfall of Mountain Grove, Joyce Bitick and husband Gene of Carthage, Missouri, and Juanita Bennett and husband Marvin of Mansfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Ashlynne Garner and husband Randy, Jake Hultz, and Abby Hultz; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ferlin McCall was cremated under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home. Private family services were held.
