Clifford Ronald Cypret

Clifford Ronald “Ron” Cypret, son of the late Clifford and Edith (Milan) Cypret, was born on October 8, 1937 in Couch, Missouri, and departed this life on January 18, 2016, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. He was 78 years, three months, and ten days of age.

Ron was raised in Bilmore, Missouri. He attended and graduated from Beaumont High School in St. Louis, Missouri, then served six years in the Army.
 
He was united in marriage to Cona Reed on October 22, 1960 in Doniphan, Missouri. Two children were born to this union: Ronda and Scott.
 
Ron retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Aerospace in St. Louis, Missouri.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, being outdoors, and gardening. He liked to paint, draw, and to do carpentry. Ron was a faithful Christian and a very kind and generous man. He was devoted to his family.

Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by one brother, Duane Cypret.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cona Cypret of the home; one daughter, Ronda Kaye Cypret-Mahach and husband Thomas of O’Fallon, Missouri; one son, Scott Reed Cypret and Tammie Jones of O’Fallon, Missouri; one brother, Barry Cypret of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jessica and husband Sgt. Jeffery Piant, Timothy Scott Mahach, Kendrik Ogren, Konnor Ogren, and Kyan Randall; three great-grandchildren, Rehanna, Alanna, and Gianna Piant; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, January 22, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Dowler officiating. Burial was held on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in O’Fallon, Missouri, under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Gillen officiating the committal service.
