Dean was born March 30, 1935, to John and Velma Cherry in West Plains, Missouri. It was while attending Cabool High School (Missouri) that she met Clyde Heinemann, to whom she would be happily married for 55 years.
Dean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many. She loved telling stories of her time as a child, of the friends she made while working at Al Parker Buick, and of the family she held close to her heart. And she loved being the home where many of her children’s friends would spend time, always making sure that the refrigerator and pantry were stocked. But most of all, she loved spending time with her husband and family.
Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bob and John, Dean is survived by her husband Clyde, daughter Kelley and son-in-law Art Rios of Pecos, Texas, son John and daughter-in-law Heidi Heinemann of Houston, Texas, and grandchildren Dustin, Chelsea and Jared Rios, all of whom loved her dearly.
A memorial service was held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in Katy, with Chaplain Daniel Schramm officiating.
