She was born on July 23, 1940 to Ray and Grace (Campbell) Ragain in Upton, Missouri. She attended first through eighth grade at Pleasant Ridge in Upton and graduated high school in Houston, Missouri, in 1958.
On September 4, 1959 she and Keith Walls were married in Cabool. To this union two children were born, Dearl and Erica. Lesley joined the family in 1977 at six weeks of age and then was adopted at age 8.
Rosemary worked at the shoe factory for several years. For a short period, 1964-1965, Rosemary and Keith owned and operated the Junction Drive In. They later owned and operated Walls’ Cabinets for 25 years, retiring in 1998.
Rosemary loved quilting and entertaining friends. She cherished her great-grandchildren and when they were not with her, she would set their pictures on the coffee table so she could see them and talk to them every day. She was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church and loved her Christian family. Her family is comforted in knowing she is at rest with the Lord.
She is survived by husband Keith Walls; son Dearl Walls; daughter Erica Estep and husband Ed; son Lesley Walls; granddaughter Meagan (Estep) Dominic and husband Ken; granddaughter Jaime Estep; grandson Doug and wife Brittany (Whetstine) Walls; grandson Ethan Estep; greatgrandsons Caleb Estep, Toby Dominic, Kelton Dominic great-granddaughter Kassidy Dominic; two sisters, Fern Parks and Dorothy Pinkston numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Grace Ragain; brothers Millard “Mib” and Clovis “Bud” Ragain; and sister Virgie Ragain.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Cabool Second Baptist Church with Darrel Loughridge and Mike Dillin officiating. Pallbearers were Doug Walls, Ethan Estep, Ken Dominic, Rance Walls, Gaylord Ragain and Ken James. Music was provided by Glen Walls, James Whetstine, Carol Jean Whetstine, Anita Hood and Paula Walls.
