She was born on April 25,1927 in Willard, Missouri, the daughter of Cleo T. and Hallie M. Crowe.
Frances married Elmer A. Baker on December 14, 1945 and to this union three children were born, Allen R. Baker, Ellen J. Brown and Earl T. Baker.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. Baker; son, Allen R. Baker son-in-law, Lonnie D. Brown; parents, Cleo T. and Hallie M. Crowe; and a brother, Clyde M. Crowe.
She is survived by two children, Ellen J. Brown of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, and Earl T. Baker and wife Cindy of Cabool; daughter-inlaw, Judi Baker Rogers and husband David of Cabool; five grandchildren, Tammie Rawlings and husband Stan of Lamar, Missouri, Rance Brown of Mtn. Grove, Brad Baker and wife Jackie of Cabool, Acelyn Baker and wife Amanda of Seymour, Missouri, and Kelsey Doeden and husband Justin of Elkland, Missouri; 11 great-grandchildren, Dustin Ragsdale and wife Christi of Lamar, Missouri, Loni Jones and husband Tim of St. James, Missouri, Brett Rawlings of Columbia, Missouri, Randon Brown of Licking, Missouri, Spencer Brown of Mtn. Grove, Trevor Baker of Cabool, Telika Baker of St. James, Hailey, Nathan and Brayden Baker of Seymour, and Ryker Doeden of Elkland; seven great-great-grandchildren, Olivia, Tripp and Trenten Jones of St. James, Skyler and Aniston Ragsdale of Lamar, and Gracie and Trooper Baker of Eldorado, Missouri; two sisters, Betty J. Moore of Cabool and Margaret Toomer of Mtn. Grove; one brother, Robert F. Crowe and wife Charlotte of Mtn. Grove; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Frances loved living in the country; she lived in the Pea Ridge community most of her life. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and support. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017, and services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maness Memorial Baptist Church in Cabool with Terry Brown and Zach Pridemore officiating. Pallbearers will be Dustin Ragsdale, Brett Rawlings, Randon Brown, Spencer Brown, Trevor Baker, Nathan Baker and Brayden Baker.
