Faye was born January 22, 1950 in Charleston, Illinois, and raised by her mother, Gracie.
She retired from Grisham Farms at Norwood, Missouri, where she worked as a secretary. In her earlier years she managed a filling station in Illinois when she had met her husband, Joe.
On June 10, 1979 Marlene Faye and Joseph Winston Fulk were united in marriage at Charleston, Illinois.
Faye was a Christian with a deep faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a valued member of Maness Memorial Baptist Church in Cabool, Missouri, for a number of years. Her church family will miss her greatly.
She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and was happiest when she was with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marlene was preceded in death by her mother, Gracie, and her sister, Joyce Clapp.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Fulk, Sr. of the home; seven children and their spouses, David Sowers and wife Khristine of Louisiana, Michael Sowers of Georgia, Joseph Fulk, Jr. and wife Tonya of Missouri, David Fulk of Illinois, Jennie Turner of Louisiana, Robert Fulk and wife Amy of Texas, and Debbie Moutray of Missouri; two sisters, Louise Moenck and Lynn Ochs, both of Illinois; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Faye Fulk will take place Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Maness Memorial Baptist Church in Cabool with Pastor Terry Brow officiating.
Cremation services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
