She was born on December 28, 1954 in Mansfield, Missouri, the daughter of the late David and Bernice (Bushong) Walker.
Jan was united in marriage to William David West and to this union three children were born, Meranda, Dale and Levi.
She owned and operated the Corner Café (when it was on the corner) in Cabool, Missouri, for several years; people would come from miles away just for the cinnamon rolls. She loved spending time with her family, spoiling her grandkids, fishing and gardening. Jan will be remembered for her delicious meals that always included her homemade hot rolls.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents; a younger brother, Danny Walker; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Walker.
She is survived by her fiancé, David Mackey of the home and his daughter, Lauren Mahin and husband Jacob; her daughter, Meranda West; her sons, Dale West and wife Leah and Levi West and wife Tiffany; Craig Finzel, whom she thought of as a son, and his fiancé Jessica; her grandchildren, Lindsey Hays, Rein West, Keely West and Zella Mahin; a brother, David Lee Walker and wife Jeane; two sisters, Joyce Walker and Ruth Thomas; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and close friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
