Born in Shafter, California, August 7, 1937, she grew up on a watermelon farm, later moving into Reedley where she attended Immanual High School. She went on to Reedley College, where she met Gilbert, who she would marry in 1957, later settling and raising their family in Missouri.
Margaret graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in December 1982 and moved to Fresno to take over her dad’s chiropractic practice. Margaret was a top-notch chiropractor and she had many patients who would come from hours away to get her adjustments. In 2007, she retired from chiropractic after diagnosis and treatment for cancer. She moved to Cabool, where she kept busy outdoors on her eight-acre property.
Private burial was in Cabool Cemetery under the direction of Elliott- Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool. Online condolences may be made at www.egcfuneralhome.
