Amos attended school until eighth grade and went to several schools, with his most talked about one being Plum Valley.
He married Wanda Sicko in Mississippi in 1958, and to this union two daughters were born.
He later met Birdie Ramsey in 1983, and they were together until the Lord called his name.
Amos loved working outside. He loved raising livestock and gardens. He also enjoyed making his homemade molasses. He loved music and learning how to play every instrument he could.
He loved his family and friends dearly. Anyone who knew Amos knew how much he enjoyed talking to everyone about his life and his families.
Amos was an amazing father, grandfather, husband and friend. He impacted so many lives around him, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Amos is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Westfall; his wife, Wanda Westfall; and one grandchild.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Birdie Ramsey; daughter, Janet Robbins and husband Norman of Houston; daughter, Linda Pendergrass of St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Shasta Robbins and fiancé of Rolla, Missouri, Brandi Gabel and husband Kelly of Houston, Kara Pendergrass of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Conrad Pendergrass of St. Joseph; sister, Carrie Pierce and husband Bill of Cabool, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren and one due in the fall, a niece and several nephews.
The family respectfully suggests that donations be made to the Amos Westfall Memorial Fund, c/o Evans Funeral Home in lieu of floral arrangements.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home. Services are Friday, May 25, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Evans Funeral Home with Rev. George Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Dykes Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steve Pierce, Vince Pierce, Kelly Gabel, Jason Ramsey, Greg Westfall and Andrew Pierce.
