Luciana Kay Cockrum, 56 – Passed January 12, 2019

Luciana Kay “Annie” Cockrum was born January 3, 1963 in Knox, Indiana, daughter of the late Lucian Wilkerson and Etta Crownover. She was carried by angels to the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, January 12, 2019 at the age of 56 at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri.

She attended Cabool Schools.

In 2002 she was united in marriage to Jim Cockrum, who preceded her in death in 2016. No children were born to this union. They lived in Mtn. Home, Arkansas, but at the time of her death she lived with her sister Cathy and husband George Marcum of Cabool, Missouri.

Annie was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend, always helping the poor and homeless, giving her last two dollars away to help.

She loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart, always praying for people. Her biggest goal in life was to love and forgive as Jesus did.

She is survived by her much loved mother, Etta Crownover of Cabool; her sisters, Frances Whitaker of Garden City, Missouri, Cathy Marcum and husband George of Cabool, and Dottie Burney Ashford and husband James of Valparaiso, Indiana; brothers James Payne of Mtn. Home, Arkansas, and Jerry Morrow of Prescott, Arizona; uncles, aunts, very special uncle Bill Heath of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and –nephews, many cousins and a special nephew that she loved as her own son, William “Booboo” Vasek and wife Christy of Odessa, Texas.

A brother, Lucian Wilkerson of Lake Station, Indiana, preceded her in death.

A memorial service for Annie will be held in the spring.
