Pate LeeAnn Marie Schultz, 19, of Mexico, Missouri, and formerly of Mtn. Grove, Missouri, left this world on January 21, 2019.
She was born on April 2, 1999 in Houston, Missouri. Pate attended Manes R-V Elementary and graduated from Hartville High School with the Class of 2017. She loved being a Hartville Eagle and playing on the softball team; she was an outstanding centerfielder with a rocket arm.
Pate was an amazing young lady with a huge heart; she loved to ride her bike, run and climb anything. Her love of life, smile and laugh were contagious; her presence lit up a room. Above all, Pate loved Jesus; His love radiated from and through her wherever she went. She was happiest when singing praises to God and spending time with her family.
Pate leaves behind the love of her life, Richard Doughton; her parents, Alan and Gara Ipock and Stan Schultz; sisters, Brooke Schultz of Arkansas, Cholena Ipock of Nebraska, Audrey Ipock of Mtn. Grove and Sidney Schultz of Norwood, Missouri; brother, Colin Schultz of Norwood; grandparents, Scott and Linda Mann, Merlene Ipock and Marsha Whitlow; aunts, Holly Borgers, Nikki Jones, Tammy Engbarth and Robin Menzor; two nieces, Ember and Brynlee White; and loads of cousins, church family and friends. Pate touched many lives and will be deeply and forever missed.
Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019, at First Christian Church in Mtn. Grove. Arrangements were under the direction of Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home of Cabool, Missouri. Online condolences may be made at www.egcfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers the family has established the Pate Schultz Memorial Fund at Great Southern Bank in Mtn. Grove.
