Billie Mae (Shelley) Miller, 82, daughter of Walter and Alma (Curtner) Shelley, was born June 24, 1936 in Bendavis, Missouri. She passed away on March 18, 2019 at Texas County Memorial Hospital, Houston, Missouri.
Billie Mae grew up in the Bendavis area and attended Murr School.
She married Donald Everrett Miller, July 5, 1952, and to this union a son and three daughters were born.
Billie Mae was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Houston. She received Christ as her savior at an early age and was later baptized.
Billie Mae loved to play bingo and spend time with her kids and grandkids. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Billie Mae was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; five sisters; and her loving husband, Donald Everrett Miller.
She is survived by her son, Lynn David Miller and wife Aida of Rolla, Missouri; daughters, Irell Joan Miller of Springfield, Missouri, Carol Ann DeMoss and husband Mike of West Plains, Missouri, and Bessie Elaine Miller of Houston; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Shelley of Cabool, Missouri; four sisters, Mickey Chronister of Cabool, Patsy Martin of Cabool, Lorene Crewse of Graff, Missouri, and Barbara Reeves of Marietta, Oklahoma; and her loving companion of 26 years, Thomas McGuire.
Memorials may be made to Murr Cemetery in lieu of flowers.
Services were Friday March 22, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home with Wesley Wallace and Pastor Mac McCully officiating. Burial was in Murr Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Jeremy Sanders, Nicolas Olalde, Alex Burrell, Dustin Mitchell, Steve McGuire, and Ron Craven.
