Faye Louise (Hallman) Brackett was born April 25, 1936, in Savoy, Texas, to Bonnie Bert Hallman and Pauline (Green) Hallman and passed away May 18, 2019, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri.

In 1967, Bill and Faye moved their family from Millsap, Texas, to Missouri. They milked cows and raised hogs until Bill’s health began to decline. They moved to Mountain Grove where they spent their remaining years together. Faye remained in her home until her passing.

Faye was a loving mother and homemaker. She excelled at anything she did. She could sew, raise a garden, and grow flowers. She canned, loved to read, and was strong in the Lord’s church until her health gave out. Faye was baptized into Christ in Bonham, Texas, and remained faithful in Christ all her days. She was a member of Church of Christ in Cabool, Missouri, and loved her church family very much.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; her brother, Joe; one sister, Shirley Norrell; two great-granddaughters; and two nephews.

She leaves behind her sister, Paula Sue Bonner and husband Tilmon; two daughters, Sheron Allen and husband, Norman, and Rae Lynne Swopes and husband Dennis; brothers-in-law, V.A. and David; and sister-in-law, Reba. God blessed her with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a lifetime friend, Alice. She loved her family very much and was proud of them all. She will be dearly missed.
