Robert Clay Howell, 41, of Cabool, Missouri, was born on September 16, 1977 to Richard and Quinnetta (Frisbee) Howell, named after his two grandpas and known to others as Bob or Bobby. He joined his Master on July 22, 2019.
At a young age Bob was a survivor of meningitis, several accidents and the normal rigors of living life. Bob was involved in working on the family farm and his first real paycheck job was working as a lifeguard at Cabool City Pool. Swimming was a sport in which he contributed to on the Cabool Swim Team. Running was also a passion where he thrived in summer track clubs and middle school track. He was a 1996 graduate of Cabool High School and later pursued his interest in big trucks by graduating from Linn Technical College in heavy equipment operations. His passion for big trucks was lived out by driving for Cabool Transport, hauling lumber for Meeks, and finally working and driving for Western Dairy Transport.
On August 12, 1999, he began dating Janette Suzanne Page. After a year of sweeping her off her feet, they married on August 12, 2000 at First Baptist Church of Norwood, Missouri. Bob and Janette were living in Republic, Missouri, when the opportunity came for them to foster parent Kyndra and she later became theirs on November 5, 2008.
Bob was a member of Cabool First Baptist Church, with his service to the Lord ranging from van driver to nursery worker. Recently his work in First Kids had made him an important part to young children who were looking for something fun to do with Bob.
His favorite vacations were attending truck shows in Kentucky and Iowa and going to the beaches in Florida and Alabama. His family enjoyed being together. His extended family in Kansas and Nebraska were always his destination when the opportunity arose.
Bob was preceded in passing by his grandparents, Clay and Mary Frisbee of Cabool and Robert and Eleanor Howell of West Plains, Missouri, and his uncle, John Frisbee of Graff, Missouri.
