CMS students selling advanced tickets to Oct. 1 Harlem Wizards show

For over 50 years the Harlem Wizards have been entertaining people across the globe with their basketball skills and comedy, and they’ll be in Cabool on Tuesday evening, October 1.

Cabool Middle School seventh and eighth grade students are selling advance tickets for the show, a fundraiser for the eighth grade spring trip to Washington, D.C.

The Harlem Wizards is a basketball team that was created in 1962. Their focus is not to win the game, but to entertain the crowd. You can look for them to draw children out of the crowd to help with a basketball trick or a comedy bit during their game with the “Cabool Dog Pack.” Their show is similar to the Harlem Globetrotters, who began in 1926.

Advance tickets to the 7:00 p.m. show October 1 at the high school gym are $9.00 for students, $11.00 for general admission, which is a two-dollar savings over the price at the door that night. Reserved tickets are $17.00 and “courtside plus” tickets are $25.00.
