Marie Pyle was born to Herbert and Opal (Dixon) Harmon February 25, 1936 at the family home in the Grandview community Houston, Missouri. She passed from this life after a lengthy illness at Houston House in Houston on February 17, 2020.
Marie was saved at an early age and a member of Ozark Baptist Church. She retired from H.D. Lee Factory.
Marie enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, and her pets. She loved being at home making quilts and cooking with her husband Franklin.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Opal Harmon, and two brothers, Charles Harmon and Bob Harmon.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin Pyle of Houston; a son, Randy and wife Mary Best of Winona, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Charlotte and husband Mike Johnson of Ohio; a granddaughter, Christy Best; four grandsons; three great-grandsons; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Luther Courtney of Raymondville, Missouri; sister-in-law, Ileene Harmon of Cabool, Missouri; plus a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorials are suggested to Ozark Cemetery.
A graveside service was held Friday, February 21, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Ozark Cemetery with Lynn Gayer officiating. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
