Fanny Elizabeth Carline Browne, 73, was born January 16, 1947 in Kansas City, Kansas, to James Wesley and Minnie Ola (Potter) Skaggs. She passed away in her home in Cabool, Missouri, with family by her side.
Carline grew up in Kansas City, where she attended school. She proudly got her GED at the age of 52.
She married Theodore Browne on April 25, 1970. In April they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary and renewed their vows.
Carline was a jack of all trades and a hard worker; there was not anything she could not do. She worked as a CNA at Kabul Nursing Home for almost 20 years, Brown Shoe Company, Conway Winters Shoe Factory, CC Screen Printing, and the Cabool flea market for several years, where she made many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, Clarence Browne and Inez Crandell; a brother, Johnny Skaggs; a son-in-law, Dennis Skaggs; a grandson, Dustin Skaggs; and two great-grandsons, Cade Allen Cook and Cylys Stewart.
Carline is survived by her husband, Ted Browne of the home; three sons, David Skaggs and wife Stephanie, Danny Skaggs and wife Patty, and Teddy Browne and wife Christy, all of Cabool; three daughters, Debra Skaggs of Cabool, Crystal Browne and partner Kimberley McCallister of West Plains, Missouri, and Joanna Hill and husband Lewis of Cabool; ten grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Carline had been attending Cabool Victory Worship Church with her daughter Debra.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, her family, and her friends. Carline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life was held Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in Cabool Victory Worship Center, Cabool. Online condolences may be sent to www.evansfh.com. Per her directions cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
